We are seeking a Social Media Intern to join our Marketing department in our office in Turin, Italy. This internship is suitable for students currently enrolled in any international university with a strong interest in social media.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Support the social media manager with implementation of social media strategies to support and align with the sales & marketing campaigns and image goals.
Maintain the social media content calendar for Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter and Google + (with potential to expand to other platforms), including application updates for Facebook tabs.
Develop outreach programs to grow and engage a solid community of followers: identify, communicate with and leverage on relevant bloggers and influencers.
Directly report to the marketing manager on a daily basis on tasks and updates.
Work to improve and localize web content for the English speaking markets
Be responsible for market research, planning, strategy implementation, reporting and feedback analysis for various activities and channels.
Monitor trends in social media channels
Skills & Requirements
Excellent command of written and spoken English;
Knowledge of social media platform (Facebook, Google +, Google +, Pinterest YouTube, Twitter).
Strong research and analytical skills
Basic understanding of SEO, online marketing, on-page and off-page online marketing. Prior experience is a plus
Please note that this is an unpaid internship which is to be undertaken for a period of between three and six months dependent upon the availability of the candidate. Whilst full time would be preferred, we are also willing to offer the role to students who are able to work part time (20 office hours per week). Due to the nature of this role, we are unable to offer visas to applicants. Whilst this internship is unpaid, trainees will receive extensive exposure all facets of digital marketing and training from our experienced and dedicated team. This is a great opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain valuable experience of working within a market leading company, whilst learning key transferrable skills in both digital marketing and e-commerce industries.
